Abstract In order to demonstrate the key functionalities of large-scale LEO navigation constellations, this paper investigates small-scale experimental constellation design problem. The major requirements include achieving quadruple coverage specific ground target areas. regional consists four satellites distributed on two orbit planes. Considering sustainable navigation, it is expected that orbits are regressional such takes little effort for cover designated region. way, structure optimization problem set up, which constrained by and accuracy requirements.
